Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AvenAstro (the "Platform"), operated by Kartexa, Unnao ("we", "us"). By creating an account, paying, or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Astrology Disclaimer, Aven AI Astro Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law.
• Registration is limited to email domains approved by us. Domain approval is only a registration control; it is not identity verification.
• You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. What the Platform provides

The Platform offers astrologer profiles, paid one-to-one consultation sessions, profile subscriptions, and Aven AI Astro, an AI chat assistant. These are provided for personal interest, cultural exploration, reflection and entertainment.

3. Astrology is not science

Astrology is a pseudoscience. It is not a scientifically established way to predict future events or to determine personality, compatibility, health, finances or outcomes. Nothing on the Platform is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not make important decisions, stop treatment, or take financial or legal action based on astrology. In an emergency contact local emergency services.

4. No guaranteed outcomes

We and our astrologers do not guarantee any result, including cures, wealth, marriage, employment, exam results, investments or future events. Any statement to the contrary is not authorised.

5. Products, prices and validity

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) at checkout and may include applicable taxes. International payers may be charged in US dollars at a rate and rounding shown before payment.
• Aven AI Astro: access for 24 hours from verified payment, subject to the message limits shown before purchase. Access is personal and non-transferable.
• Consultation session: a credit for one 30-minute session with the astrologer you bought it for, to be booked within the validity period shown at purchase.
• Profile subscription: access to the chosen astrologer profile for the period shown (one day or 12 months) from activation.
• Access starts only after payment is verified by our payment partners. Time-limited access expires automatically and is enforced by our systems.

6. Bookings

Sessions are scheduled in 30-minute slots. Customers may cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before the start; the credit is then restored. Late cancellations and missed sessions forfeit the credit. If an astrologer cancels or does not attend, your credit is restored or refunded as set out in the Refund Policy. Sessions are held on a meeting link supplied by the astrologer; you must not record a session without the other person's consent.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party providers (Razorpay for India and PayPal for eligible international payments). We do not store card or bank credentials. Payments are final, subject to the Refund Policy and to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Fraudulent or disputed chargebacks may lead to suspension.

8. Aven AI Astro

Aven AI Astro is an artificial-intelligence assistant, not a human or a licensed professional. Its answers can be wrong. See the Aven AI Astro Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular you must not harass, threaten or defraud anyone, request harmful instructions, attempt to manipulate or extract the AI's instructions, use fear to pressure others into purchases, or use astrology to discriminate against or make decisions about another person.

10. Astrologers

Astrologers are independent practitioners. They are not our employees, and we do not verify their astrological qualifications. Astrologers are bound by the Astrologer Agreement, including KYC and payout terms.

11. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, logos and content belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Platform. You may not copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer it.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk or are required by law, with or without notice where urgent. You may close your account by following the Account Deletion process on the Account Deletion page. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund of unused paid access.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on astrological or AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for rights you have as a consumer.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when posted and, where required, we will ask you to accept them again. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer-forum rights, the courts of competent jurisdiction at Unnao, Uttar Pradesh shall have jurisdiction.
